11am–6pm: free admission with self-guided tours of the Cerruti Collection
11am–2pm: special breakfast
A shuttle service is available for visitors, departing from the square in front of Rivoli Castle from 11am (last journey at 5 pm)
This collaborative initiative, led by the Italian National Association of Memory Houses (Italy) in partnership with ICOM-DEMHIST and ICOM-ICLCM (International Committee of Literary and Composers’ Museums), is dedicated to celebrating historic residences and memory houses.
DEMHIST is the International Committee for House Museums of ICOM (International Council of Museums), dedicated to the conservation, study and promotion of historic residences converted into museums. The French acronym stands for Demeures historiques, focusing on the management, restoration and communication of these sites.
The International Council of Museums (ICOM) is the leading international non-governmental organisation representing museums and museum professionals worldwide. Founded in 1946, it sets ethical and technical standards, promotes the conservation of cultural heritage and facilitates collaboration between institutions and professionals, including the official definition of a ‘museum’. The Fondazione Cerruti is a member of ICOM and DEMHIST.
