Luncheon on the grass at Collezione Cerruti

18.07.2026, 11:00 AM - 03:00 PM

A Day of Art, Music and a Picnic in the Garden of Villa Cerruti

On Saturday, 18 July, Collezione Cerruti invites visitors to a special summer event inspired by one of Francesco Federico Cerruti's own traditions. Every year, on his name day, he welcomed friends and guests to Villa Cerruti to spend the day together.

The event brings this tradition back to life by opening the garden of the villa for a day to be enjoyed outdoors, surrounded by art, music and relaxation.

From 11 am to 3 pm, visitors are invited to enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Collezione Cerruti will provide picnic blankets and deckchairs for relaxing in the park, complimentary refreshments for adults and children, and a live musical selection by Alessio Capovilla (XIII, Gang of Ducks). Guests are welcome to bring a packed lunch, a sandwich or a light snack to enjoy in the park.

The event offers an opportunity to experience Collezione Cerruti in a different way, beyond the traditional museum visit, rediscovering the villa park as a place for gathering, culture and shared experiences, while reviving a tradition deeply rooted in the history of the villa and its founder.

The event also marks the beginning of a new collaboration between Collezione Cerruti and the City of Rivoli. Starting this autumn, a programme of cultural initiatives for local residents will offer new opportunities to experience the Collection, strengthening the connection between this extraordinary artistic heritage and the Rivoli community.

Admission to the picnic is free and no booking is required.

The Collection will be open as usual and can be visited from 11.00 to 18.00. Tickets can be purchased online or directly at the Cerruti Collection ticket office.

Residents of Rivoli are admitted free of charge every Saturday, upon presentation of valid ID. For further information about visiting the museum, please refer to the dedicated visitor information page

Please note that Collezione Cerruti offers free on-site parking, including charging stations for electric cars and e-bikes, at Strada Pozzetto 8.
